Nageshwar Temple, Dwarka, situated alongside the Arabian Sea, stands the mighty Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple a place where the presence of Lord Shiva is felt. This temple isn’t just any shrine; it’s one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the most sacred abodes of Shiva. Here, he is worshipped as Nageshwar, the Lord of Serpents, the fearless protector of devotees from evil forces. Legends say that thousands of years ago, a devoted Shiva bhakt named Supriya was attacked by demons, and it was here that Lord Shiva appeared as Nageshwar to protect him, establishing this spot as a powerful center of energy.
The first thing you see when you get close to the temple is the enormous, immovable, and breathtaking 25-meter statue of Lord Shiva sitting in peaceful meditation outside.
