Shravan Month & Mahakal Sawari (Sawan, July–August)
Every Monday during Shravan, the Shahi Mahakal Sawari takes place with the idol of Mahakal carried in a decorated palanquin through Ujjain’s streets.

Nag Panchami (July–August, Shravan Month)
Devotees worship serpent deities, offer milk and flowers to snake idols, and observe special rituals especially significant as there’s a shrine for Nagchandreshwar within the Mahakal Temple complex.
